Hola familia y amigos!
Hope all the wonderful women in my life have had a great Mother's Day, especially my mom and grandmas!
Every week feels the same as the last, and time just goes by faster and faster. A lot of the people that have been 'progressing' have just suddenly disappeared, so we still have to find more people, but thankfully Cristian, the brother of Marisol who was baptized in March, came to church and really enjoyed it. He was kind of timid about going at first because he went to an Evangelical church here and he didn’t like what he saw and experienced, but he really enjoyed our meetings, and if he goes next week, hopefully we can baptize him this month! I guess we had another investigator go to sacrament meeting, but I never saw them because I was playing prelude music on the piano, haha!! Kind of playing it at least, I can play a couple more hymns now, but I need a lot more practice.
This week we had two activities to try and get more references. On Friday we went to Choloma, to the park they have there and shined shoes for free. We did find some crazies, but it was really fun and it benefited the entire zone. It was only our district and the ZL's, but it was super fun.

On Saturday we had planned an activity for the ward, which kind of worked. It was a scavenger hunt throughout the church, the members were split into groups and they were given clues in the scriptures, for example one clue would show the scripture, they would have to look it up, and if it said 'Let the little children come unto me' then the next clue would be in the primary room, and they had to find a treasure chest. Our ward mission leader didn’t explain everything super great, and messed up some of the references for the clues so people just ran around the church until they had all the clues, haha but it was fun! Later our ward mission leader compared how hard it was to find the clues or the scriptures to how hard it is for us (missionaries) to find people to teach and that we need help from the members, so from the activity we got more than 20 references! Yes! Hopefully some of these can pull through and we can get some more people to teach.

I had divisions on Friday to La Victoria and they have a convert that is amazing! He read the Book of Mormon in 10 days, and helps the missionaries a bunch. One of the pics is of a kid in La Victoria climbing a coconut tree to get us some coconuts to drink. Normally I don’t like coconut milk but this one was super sweet. Yesterday our convert Victor invited us to eat dinner and have cake for Mother's Day, so there are a couple pics of that, and the little black girl they watch, she is super adorable! Well I hope everyone has a great week and that all goes well back home, enjoy the pics!
