Buenos Dias!
Well this was a good week, it went by really fast and it feels like I might mix together all the things that happened this week with stuff from last week, haha! Well stuff is coming together with us as a companionship. We found out today that neither of us have changes so that means I will spend Christmas in another area :( Whatevs I know this change will go by fast. Well this week was really normal. Gina is awesome! She shared with us a really cool experience from going to church last week. So she has a little DVD store and she is always working there, but my comp went on divisions and talked to her and taught her and her husband about the Sabbath day, so she wants to stop working on Sundays, however last week she didn’t make a lot of money on Sat. at all and someone was coming on Sun to pick up money that she owes. So she had two choices, go to church and not open in the morning or stay at home and open. So she decided to go to church and open a little afterwards, she wanted a friend to open for her while she was gone but he couldn’t. So she went to church and loved it, and when she came back she opened and had a whole bunch of customers and got more than enough money to pay the guy before he came and she saw the blessings she was receiving for listening to us!
It was really cool to hear that experience. She has been having a lot of problems ever since she has been listening to us, but she knows that it’s because she wants to change her life for the better and she says that everything that is happening isn’t anything she can’t handle. She has a lot of faith and it is incredible to see her grow. We have been finding a lot of people, but not a lot of them are progressing like we want them to. We did have some investigators go to church, including the wife in a family we are teaching, but the husband will not go to our church building. He is too scared because of the area surrounding the church, so we aren’t sure what to do with him. We hope to have some baptisms soon but a lot of people aren’t progressing very well and I’m not sure what else we can do.
Today we don’t have a lot of time because we have to go pay the water bill and other stuff, so sorry for a short letter but that is basically all that has happened. It’s super cold now in the mornings (I think it’s around 75 but it feels like 55!) I hope everyone has a great week and a happy Halloween!
